Top 2 - Pirates at Red Sox

This is my first trip to City of Palms. In fact, it's the only current spring training park I haven't been to on the west coast of Florida. Now I can cross it off my list. I haven't had much time to explore but I might look around after the game. Mike Lowell just robbed Jose Bautista, leading to an AB for Doug Mientkiewicz, who gets his share of boos and jeers from the crowd. Didn't know the Red Sox fans were so against him for wanting to keep that ball. Doug is seeing a lot of playing time early this year as the Pirates look to see if they have a spot for him.
Doug was hitting .125 coming in to the game, but he draws a patient walk from Dice-K. Brian Bixler follows up with a triple off Ellsbury's glove in center. The guy sitting next to me says error because it hit his glove. I say no because it clipped the end of of his glove. He never had a chance to get control of it. Mientkiewicz scored on the triple before the inning ended.
Score: Pirates 1, Red Sox 0
