When some guy named Zack Segovia retires Freddy Sanchez, Adam LaRoche and Jose Bautista in order, it's probably not the Pirates day.

Japanese media and photographers spring to attention when Masumi Kuwata comes in to pitch an inning. You wonder how the 39-year-old Kuwata manages to fool anyone, and a line-drive foul off the bat of Pat Burrell nearly rips the Hooter's ball girl from her seat.

Somehow, Kuwata escapes without giving up a run. You've got to admire the guy for following his dream, especially after being sidelined part of last year with an ankle injury and then performing poorly in Pittsburgh.
