Pirates at Phillies, 7th inning

No offense today for the Pirates. Maybe they're saving the big bats for Tuesday in Fort Myers against the Red Sox and Daisuke Matsuzaka (how come Boston has Dice-K and Pittsburgh has. ... never mind, rhetorical question).

This is a nice change from the first few games, which have all lasted beyond three hours. That flies a lot better on the gridiron, where they don't play 200 games a season.

Former Rays prospect Evan Meek allows a run. Meek is a Rule 5 draft guy, which I think means if the Pirates don't keep him on he big-league roster, the Rays can re-claim him.

Possibly one of the biggest questions of the spring thus becomes: Which earth-bound franchise shall inherit the Meek?
