A right-hander named Josh Banks is going to try to wtap this one up for Toronto's fifth victory of the spring. Freddy Sanchez leads off.
Sanchez still hasn't played second base, but he and Pirates officials insist there are no concerns with Opening Day less than three weeks away.
A one-hopper to second base draws us closer to the long, traffic-clogged drive back to Bradenton. Kevin Thompson pops out -- the Pirates bats are as quiet today as a flock of butterflies.
Doug Mientkiewicz is the last hope. His lazy fly to center ends a lazy day that results in another setback for John Russell and the Buccos -- but they'll return to Dunedin on Saturday.
Hope you enjoyed and let me know what you think!
