Bottom 2 - Phillies at Pirates

I looked at my roster and spotted Steve Pearce's name, reminding me to inform you that one of the big news items of the day has the Pirates moving Pearce to the outfield (RF) full-time. He'd been splitting between first base and OF, and the Pirates evidently feel he needs something he can stick to.
Speaking of position changes, Neil Walker, the Pirates former first round pick who moved from catcher to third base prior to last season, doubled to lead off the inning. The Pirates have four hits, all doubles. Pittsburgh had failed to move Walker off second on the next two out, then Nate McLouth, you guessed it, doubled him home. That's five-for-five in the double your pleasure department.
No more doubles, no more runs in that inning. The Pirates settle for one.
Pirates 3, Phillies 1
