Top 3 - Phillies at Pirates

There was a T-shirt toss between innings. In case you have been living under a rock and haven't seen one of these spectacles, it involves a lot of begging and a huge slingshot sending some of the shirts far into the air. The slingshot was positioned in front of the Phillies dug out this time, and it appeared the Phils players didn't particularly like its placement. Shane Victorino was coming back from the field when he stuck his glove over his face to protect against a low-flying t-shirt shot to the face. That would be an injury report Shane would never live down. Victorino: Out (bruised face as a result of a wayward T-shirt). Philadelphia fans will be glad to know he escaped unharmed, and he's batting right now. You know what they say about the guy who avoids the sling-shot? He's bound to come up the next half inning. Not bound to get a hit though, as he grounds out to end the frame.
Pirates 3, Phillies 1
