Pat "The Bat" Burrell leads off the inning for the Phillies. I acquired him for my fantasy team midway through last season, and he gave me a nice power infusion. As I typed infusion, Burrell powered one deep over the left field wall. That was a no-doubter. Bay barely moved.
Back to more important things: My fantasy team. I kept two Phillies out of my five alloted players this offseason. Jimmy Rollins and Ryan Howard help makes Dougz Thugz tick, and we are are proud to have them.
Olmedo breaks his bat to ground out for the final out of the inning. Wilson made a fine play on the slow grounder just over the pitcher's mound.
Score: Pirates 2, Phillies 1
