Top of the 1st

Mike Mussina is the starter for the Yankees, and he's had an interesting career.

He's won 250 games in 17 seasons. He sports a .635 winning percentage. He owns six gold gloves.

But he has never won 20 games in a season, nor a Cy Young. And despite being a Yankee since 2001, he has yet to win a World Series. Such omissions could hurt his Hall-of-Fame campaign.

Today, however, he gets off to a quick start. He catches Nyjer Morgan looking at a knee-buckling breaking pitch - solicting "Mooose" calls all over Legends Field - and retires the side in order.

Scoreless.
