Former Rays pitching propsect Evan Meek takes the mound for the Pirates. There are a lot of Rays cast-offs with the Buccos this spring. Josh Wilson, Jorge Velandia, Casey Fossu and Meek make four. Chris Gomez is also a former Ray. That's off the top of my head. There might be more out there. Feel free to comment on this blog if more Rays come to mind.
Meek was far from it, pitching a perfect seventh. He wanted to hurry up and get back to the dugout for Take Me Out to the Ballgame.
