Top 6 - Phillies at Pirates

As we move into the top of the sixth, I notice most of the starters are still in the game. Howard just crushed, and I mean crushed one over the boys clubbed. We've seen a couple blasts today, but that one was the biggest. The crowd loved it. Byung-Hyun Kim gave up the blast. I think that might be the first homer he's ever allowed. I just can't recall him giving up any long balls. Scanning my memory, it just doesn't ring a bell.
I'm kind of surprised how long most teams are keeping their starting lineup guys in the game. We're looking at both squads leaving their starting eight in for a full six innings at least. Seems early in the spring for that, but maybe I'm off.
Kim settled in an retired the next three batters, and as I get ready for the next half inning, it looks like Phillies have changed everybody in the field.
Blogged too soon, I guess.
Pirates 5, Phillies 3
