Pirates vs. Reds, top of sixth

Now, that was scary.
After Luis Rivas led off with a walk, McLouth squared to bunt, but the pitch from the left-handed Sauerbeck got away and sailed at Nate's noggin.
Fortunately, he turned away in time to absorb a glancing blow on his arm. No matter; as a precaution, Kevin Thompson came in to run for McLouth.
Jack Wilson walked, so Freddy Sanchez is up with the bases loaded and no outs. Man, these pitchers are hurting today.
Heck, at this rate I might not make it to McKechnie for the start of tonight's game.
Sanchez bounces a two-run single through the left side, putting the Pirates up 9-7 and leading to another pitching change. Maybe Brad Salmon can speed this thing along. ...
And maybe not. LaRoche blooped a single to left, giving the Pirates a 10-7 lead. You have to wonder how much the wind is affecting hurlers' location, although it didn't bother Johnny Cueto.
Paulino knocks in a run with a single. It's starting to look like glorified batting practice. Hey Dusty, maybe you should bring Rawly Eastwick out of retirement.
This crowd is getting restless. Pearce hit a foul pop shortstop Juan Castro couldn't get to, and third baseman Adam Rosales had no clue. But the inning finally ends, as all must.
