Pirates vs. Reds, bottom of sixth

The way I figure it, the only players you can say without question were the best at their respective positions were Yankees first baseman Lou Gehrig and Pirates shortstop Honus Wagner.
Everywhere else you look, debate rages. Rogers Hornsby or Joe Morgan at second? Yogi Berra, Bill Dickey or Johnny Bench behind the plate? Mickey Mantle or Willie Mays (or Joe DiMaggio) in center?
OK, I'll give you Babe Ruth over Ty Cobb in right, although I think Cobb also played a lot of center.
Right-handed starter -- Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Greg Maddux? Anyone still want to argue Roger Clemens?
In recent years, Randy Johnson might be part of the left-hander's mix with Sandy Koufax and Lefty Grove.
