Pirates vs. Reds, bottom of seventh

Juan Perez is making his second appearance this spring for the Pirates. For the past two years, he qualifies hands-down as the most quiet guy in the McKechnie Field clubhouse.
The left-hander is a situational guy manager John Russell hopes to use against left-handed bats. Oddly, though, left-handers hit .313 against Perez in 2007, compared to .273 by right-handers.
Given all that, need we inform you "Here come the Reds?" They've just cut the lead to 11-8 on a Craig Tatum ground out.
Jonah Bayliss is getting his running in on the warning track, along with fellow pitcher Ronald Belisario. I remember how funny that used to look the first few spring-training games I attended, like the sanctity of the game was being threatened.
