Blue Jays reliever Randy Wells gets the first two batters without trouble. I can't remember the last time I've seen a game move this fast!
Maybe I just jinxed it.
Luis Cruz is up, leading me to wonder: How often does a guy who makes a great defensive play bat third in the next inning?
I'm not wondering for long. Cruz grounds to third, and it's 2-1 Blue Jays going to the last of the eighth.
