Pirates vs. Blue Jays, bottom of second

You really have to get out to realize what a beautiful day we've been given.
Matt Stairs doesn't think so, not right now. Snell got him to chase a pitch out of the strike zone for a whiff.
Lyle Overbay is up -- how many people in your life have you known named Lyle? We had one in our neighborhood in Connecticut growing up, Lyle Smith.
He couldn't come out to play one day. When we asked him why, he replied: "Because I ate a piece of toast."
Although we never knew what he meant, it's entirely possible he was allergic to wheat products.
This Lyle just doubled to left-center, so Snell gets to work from the stretch. A walk to Aaron Hill sets up a potential ground-ball double play.
Gregg Zaun just popped one foul behind home into the third row of the stands. It landed two seats from Pirates president Frank Coonelly, who appeared to be satisfied with catcher Raul Chavez's hustle.
Former Rays infielder Josh (not Jack) Wilson made a nice stop of Zaun's smash but was only able to get the out at first. Now it's up to David Eckstein, who I find vaguely annoying only because one of his two World Series rings came at the expense of my Giants.
Eckstein flies out to Nady in right. Good.
