Bottom 7 - Pirates at Red Sox

Kevin Thompson robs Mike Lowell to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning. Dave Davidson is in to pitch for the Pirates. He's not off to an auspicious start, as he was saved from a double against Lowell, then he walks journeyman Bobby Kielty. Casey follows with a single hard up the middle, and then heads to showers as Brandon Moss comes in to pinch run.
Breaking news: slick fielding Doug Mientkiewicz made an error over at first. He's got one of the best gloves in the game, but everybody makes on now and then.
Argenis Diaz drives in his second run of the game with a single to right. Diaz turned 21 last month, so he's a few years away, but he's also blocked at SS by Julio Lugo and prospect Jed Lowrie.
The Red Sox add two more to head to the seventh up by three runs.
Score: Red Sox 4, Pirates 1
