Blue Jays-Pirates, top of first

I saw Herald columnist Vin Mannix here -- he's all decked out for the holiday and was curious why this Fighting Irishman isn't wearing anything green.
Well, I forgot! Fortunately, the Pirates' ground crew didn't; all the bases (but not home plate) are spray-painted green.
Pirates starter Zach Duke squared off five days against A.J. Burnett in Dunedin, with the Blue Jays winning 4-1. The Pirates have since gone five consecutive games without scoring against an opponent's starting pitcher, although they've won two of those games.
David Eckstein is on first with a leadoff single.
Jose Bautista charged a ball off Vernon Wells' bat and started an around-the-horn double play to end the inning. The Pirate Parrot is atop the visitors' dugout, giving the Blue Jays grief.
