Twins vs. Pirates, second inning

Frankly, I can't imagine a more athletic-looking guy than Twins catcher Joe Mauer. He and first baseman Justin Morneau will keep this team in contention if the pitching holds up.
This Scott Baker kid for the Twins looks like he has pretty good control. He struck out Adam LaRoche and Jose Bautista looking in the bottom of the second.
I'd be remiss if I didn't describe McLouth's "single" in the first. He popped it up on the infield, and it started out in the direction of third baseman Brian Buscher.
Then, the wind got hold of it. Shortstop Matt Tolbert started sprinting toward the mound, but it deflected off his glove before he crashed into first baseman Morneau.
Hey, Minnesota fans: How'd you like to lose the 2006 Most Valuable Player on a play like that?
Fortunately, neither guy was hurt and it was 0-0 after two.
