Top of the 6th

OK, I have no problem with Billy Crystal taking an at-bat.

But the grounds crew dancing to YMCA? Sorry. Don't like it. I don't like seeing it in the Bronx, and I don't like seeing it here.

But there is a saving grace to all this - as the grounds crew shimmies and shakes, Yankee closer Mariano Rivera trots out to the mound. Metallica's "Enter Sandman" blares over the speakers, and Rivera gets a rousing ovation.

(Which still pales in comparison to the one the crowd gave Billy Crystal.)

Jose Bautista singles to left, giving Pittsburgh it's first baserunner. And after Chris Gomez singles to right, Hank Steinbrenner pages Brian Cashman, wanting to know why Rivera hasn't been traded yet.

(I'm kidding. I hope.)

With runners on second and third and one out, Nyjer Morgan grounds out to first. Jose Bautista breaks for home - then stops and goes back, and then breaks for home again. He's caught in a rundown, and the Pirate rally ends.

15 years, right.

No score.
