Top 7 - Reds at Pirates

Evan Meek is pitching for the Pirates now. He seems to throw every time I blog, and, no, I don't think it's a coincidence. The rain has slowed to drizzle now, and both teams have removed many of their starters. You don't want anybody getting hurt in these slippery conditions, but since the Reds have a split squad, too, both teams don't have tremendous numbers. Lotta high numbers out there for the Reds. We got Sean Henry (No. 84) batting and No. 94 is on deck. Neither of these guys has a name on his jersey. They clearly aren't in the major league camp. Henry walks and No. 94 Luis Bolivar bats for Brandon Phillips.
Bolivar, whose name didn't even appear on the scoreboard when he came up, flew out to Thompson in CF to end the inning.

Reds 2, Pirates 0
