Top 5 - Phillies at Pirates

Pedro Feliz, the Phillies' new third baseman, greeted new pitcher Ty Taubenheim by smacking a home run onto the roof of the Boys and Girls Club past the left field wall. Ray Olmedo followed with a single up the middle. Taubenheim's struggles remind me that Ian Snell looked pretty solid today. He allowed only two hits, a double and a home to Pat Burrell. Take Burrell out of the equation and Snell pitched great.
The homer and single Taubenheim opened the inning were the first two baserunners he's allowed this spring. He'd faced six batters coming in, retiring them all. Taubenheim now has Olmedo and Rollins on after walking J-Roll.
Looks like someone might have taken a foul ball down the left field line, but they appear OK and are receiving a nice applause from the fans seated in that area. Taubenheim gets Dobbs to foul out to get out of the inning before Ryan Howard stepped to the plate.
Pirates 5, Phillies 2
