One of these teams will be 6-11 after today, the other 5-12 (assuming it does not wind up tied and they run out of pitchers).
Hits by Jorge Velandia and Josh Wilson off Toronto reliever Brian Wolfe have us in a second-and-third, two-out situation with McCutchen at bat.
Looking out at the stands reminds me how my skin used to peel when I sat too long, unprotected, at a spring-training game. I'm gad I'm not paying a price for absorbing too many rays.
McCutchen just got rung up to end the inning, and lingers to discuss the location with home-plate umpire Phil Cuzzi, who listens respectfully.
