Pirates vs. Blue Jays, bottom of fourth

Vernon Wells just put a damper on Duke's outing, slamming a 1-2 pitch over the left-field wall for a home run and a 2-1 Blue Jays lead.
Wells' home-run production plummeted last season, from 32 in 2006 to 16 last season, when he batted a career-low .245 -- 58 points lower than the previous year. He had averaged 28 home runs a year from 2002-06.
Various forms of between-inning entertainment keep things light, but the fans they choose seem to have little chance to win.
Already, some guy missed two 8-foot putts on top of the Pirates dugout that could have earned him a three-night stay on the beach (in a hotel, I presume).
