Lineups

Here are today's lineups in this highly-anticipated rematch of the 1903 World Series. The Red Sox, known then as the Americans, won the best-of-9 series 5-3.

The Red Sox:
1. Julio Lugo, dh
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2b
3. Kevin Youkilis, 3b
4. Manny Ramirez, lf
5. Bobby Kielty, rf
6. Sean Casey, 1b
7. Jacoby Ellsbury, cf
8. Alex Cora, ss
9. Dusty Brown, c
Kyle Snyder, p

The Red Sox have so many stars that even when they leave some of the big guys home - Jason Varitek, David Ortiz and Mike Lowell are among the ones who didn't make the trip - fans can still yell for Ramirez, Youkilis and Pedroia, the reigning AL Rookie of the Year. And expect to hear some cheers for Snyder, a Riverview alum, and Casey, former Pirate and all around good guy.

The Pirates:
1. Nate McLouth, cf
2. Jack Wilson, 2b
3. Freddy Sanchez, dh
4. Jason Bay, lf
5. Adam LaRoche, 1b
6. Ryan Doumit, c
7. Jose Bautista, 3b
8. Steve Pearce, rf
9. Luis Rivas, 2b
Tom Gorzelanny, p

It's going to be good to see the on-the-mend Sanchez take some cuts today, while Gorzelanny will try to take a chisel to that 19.29 ERA he's accumulated in two starts.

It's starting to brighten up a bit. With temperatures expected to hover in the low 80s, and sun in the forecast, this may just be a good day for baseball.
