The first-ever night game here at McKechnie Field should be nearly 20 minutes old.
Instead, with rain in the forecast, the tarp is still on the field, and a few flashes of lightning have chased fans off of the metal bleachers.
(Good move.)
The public-address announcer has told the crowd - not the largest one to ever fill the ballyard - that a line of showers are headed toward the area, and the game will begin "as soon as possible."
Which means...no one has any clue if we're playing ball tonight.
