Bottom of the 9th

Remember Morgan Ensberg? This guy hit 36 home runs and drove in 101 runs and helped the Houston Astros reach the World Series in 2005.

Now he's a non-roster invitee with the Yankees, looking to make the club as a backup corner infielder. With one on against Hector Carrasco in the ninth, he grounds out, much to the chagrin of the one Yankee fan who has been screaming "Let's Go Yankees!" since the sixth inning.

(Wonder how nuts this guy goes when the games actually count.)

Also part of his arsenal - "Earn your pinstripes!" and my personal favorite, "Come on - you're a Yankee!"

Chad Moeller strikes out, and the Pirates win.

What a day - a little Crystal, a win for Kim and one loud Yankee fan heads home sad.

This is John Lembo, signing off.
