I've always wondered why the bat boys never got their names on their jerseys.

The Tigers' bat boy, for example, just has BAT BOY sprawled across his back. It makes him sound like some sort of a mutant supervillian that hides in the gutters and preys on a city's lost souls.

Would it be too much to put the kid's name back there? That'd be special, right?

Tigers go down quietly. They still lead 6-2.
