Bottom of the 2nd

I spent New Yer's Eve in Boston in 2004. A college buddy of mine works and lives near the city, and a guy he knew rented out a bar for the night. It was a lot of fun - until the folks in the bar started toasting the Red Sox winning their first World Series in 86 years.

Hearing that was torture. Then my friend, in a moment of lunacy, decided to tell the folks in the bar I'm a Yankee fan. Luckily, instead of pounding on me, they just mocked me.

Fine. Fists and feet may break my bones, but the truth will never hurt me.

(That second part is a lie.)

Snyder, meanwhile, pitches around Adam LaRoche's double and Jose Bautista's walk, preserving Boston's 1-0 lead after two innings.
